The pathway
The Greek long-stay digital nomad visa is for eligible non-EU employees, self-employed people and freelancers working remotely for parties outside Greece. Check eligibility and permitted activities with the responsible authority.
Prepare your application
Prepare evidence of your overseas work or clients, stable income, passport and health insurance. Foreign ministry guidance states a monthly income requirement of EUR 3,500 for the main applicant; family members and the application location may bring additional requirements.
After approval
The long-stay visa can allow a stay of up to twelve months. For a longer stay, check the applicable residence permit, application deadlines and renewal conditions, as well as family and tax arrangements.
