The pathway
One Serbian official guide lists digital nomads among grounds related to temporary residence, but official pages do not list the same categories consistently. Eligibility and evidence depend on the applicable legal basis and work arrangements; verify them with the responsible authority before applying.
Prepare your application
Prepare a passport and evidence of accommodation, health insurance, means of support and the basis for your application. Check translation, authentication and online application requirements, and comply with accommodation registration rules after arrival.
After approval
Check the residence period granted, renewal conditions and permitted work. If taking local employment or conducting business in Serbia, separately verify residence and work permit requirements and tax obligations.
